(KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE) Warrior Race Cars and Goddard Performance Parts are
very excited to announce their partnership with Clint Bowyer Racing for the
upcoming 2010 racing season! The Knoxville, Tennessee Dirt Late Model
chassis builder supplied fast racecars for the Clint Bowyer Racing team and
driver Dale McDowell last year and will do so again in 2010. The #17m team
had a very successful season in ’09, as they reached victory lane on six
different occasions in the sixty-nine races that they entered.
Two of those wins came on the ultra-competitive Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt
Series and four victories were worth $10,000 a piece. Aside from his trips
to victory lane, Dale guided his Clint Bowyer Racing #17m Warrior racecar
to twenty-four Top Five finishes and forty-one Top Ten performances in
2009. The Chickamauga, Georgia native was also credited for a strong
fourth place effort in the final Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series point
standings. You can view several of Dale’s accomplishments from last season
noted below:
* Finished Fourth in Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Point Standings

“Everyone associated with Warrior Race Cars and Goddard Performance Parts
are very excited about our partnership with Clint Bowyer Racing,” exclaimed
owner Sanford Goddard recently. “While the cars are housed in Welcome,
North Carolina at Clint Bowyer’s shop, we are still very hands-on with the
racecars. I feel like we learned a lot of things traveling up and down the
road on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series tour last year and we can
translate that setup information to all of our other Warrior clients.
Hopefully, we only get faster and faster in 2010.”
The Clint Bowyer Racing team plans to unload their Warrior racecars for the
first time in 2010 at the ultra-fast Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick,
Georgia during the ‘Super Bowl of Racing’ on January 28-30. The #17m team
will once again follow the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series tour in 2010
and their schedule starts from February 1-6 at the East Bay Raceway Park in
Gibsonton, Florida. The LOLMDS schedule has 41 confirmed dates in 19
different states, with 12 of those events set for broadcast on the SPEED
Channel.
